Welcome to the SkyMetro Voxel International Tower (KSVO). As Lead Controller, you command dual parallel runways 09L / 09R and crosswind runway 18, separating heavy wake-turbulence jets, supersonic concords, and commuter turboprops.
Controller Field Guide:
• Inbound Arrivals: Vector to runway approach corridor, assign altitude 2,500ft to intercept ILS glideslope, then issue CLEARED TO LAND.
• Wake Turbulence: Maintain 4-5 NM separation behind Heavy (B747/Cargo) to prevent wake vortex upsets.
• Ground Taxi: Once landed, clear aircraft off runway via taxiways to Gate 1-8. Route outbound flights to Runway holding line for takeoff.
• Emergencies: Vector bird strikes and fuel-starved flights immediately with priority!
